If you ever lost your way while you were growing up.
You will agree that there are several roads that you negotiated didn’t lead you home….
It was too early that morning when a little boy lost his way as he returned home with his parents.
Somehow he was mixed up in the crowd and the parents lost sight of him.
The Parents immediately were dedicated to his search but every attempt made to find him was futile.
So they thought it wise that the police could help.
They resorted to that direction but the day went deep yet he was not still found or any trace of him anywhere.
The boy was just 3 years and that hampered the parents to fear more if he was already in bad hands or if he was even alive at all.
You can imagine how joy disappeared from the couple because of their dear son.
If you have lost your way before, maybe you will understand better too.
If you’re a parent, you can imagine how the family felt.
Finally it was almost eventide when the little boy was found by strangers.
They asked him “WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR FATHER?” He said “DADDY”…. Oh!
“What is the name of your mother?” He said “MUMMY”…. This is a big challenge!Very serious!
So how on earth can this boy get to his parents? They wandered.
They asked him again, “where do you people live?” He said “OUR HOUSE”…. Smiles…😀
At this point they didn’t know what else to do.
Friends… They asked the boy, can you remember any street close to your house or any signboard?….
Any landmark? Anything at all?
The boy said yes!
He said……”There is a Church close to our house, that Church has a very long CROSS,…. LEAD ME TO THAT CROSS I WILL FIND MY WAY BACK HOME!”. † † †
He found his way back home as soon as he could get to the Cross.
Friend, that cross is Jesus!
If He hadn’t come, we would’ve been lost and gone.
We would’ve been either dead or deadly.
We are grateful for the gift of Jesus!
All over the world, let’s celebrate the very essence of the birth of Jesus. That they that sat in darkness are now seeing a great light!
It’s the season to grow your love for Him.
I am here to let you know that Jesus loves you and that was why He came!
It’s the season of love!
Let us pray!
