Iowa Senators Wrote President Trump to Send Special Aid to Persecuted Christians in Nigeria

Recently, a nongovernmental organization in Nigeria reported that over 620 Christians have been killed in first five months of this year as the Christians especially those in the north continue to face fierce persecution by the Islamic extremist groups who are basically Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen.

The two senators from, Senator Joni Ernst and Senators Chuck Grassley wrote a letter to president Trump to send special aid in rescue of persecuted Christians in the country. The letter stated that 40,000 Nigerians have died at the hands of Boko Haram, an Islamic terrorist organization, asserting that Christians need more protection.

Two years ago, President Trump told Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure the safety of “innocent civilians of all faiths.”

Several houses and churches have been burnt down and demolished which have rendered most people homeless while the government and military have not been able to eradicate the Islamic terrorist organization out of the affected regions completely.

Jesus loves you, accept Him today, tomorrow might be too late.
