GODLY WISDOM FOR BIBLE TEACHERS

– Bimbo Animashaun

Don’t teach the Word to IMPOSE what the Bible says on people; simply EXPLAIN the Scriptures in the power of the Holy Spirit and let the Holy Spirit play His own part.

Your role in teaching is to EXPLAIN; the Holy Spirit’s role is to CAUSE THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PEOPLE TO OPEN.
Trying to perform the role of the Holy Spirit in teaching is a common mistake that teachers make.

Trying to FORCE Bible teachings into people’s consciousness in the energy of the flesh is tiring, wearisome and frustrating.
Don’t ever force the Bible down the throat of the people; simply yield yourself to the Holy Spirit in speech and communication.

Even if what you’re teaching is accurate, DON’T EVER FORCE IT ON PEOPLE. Show them the WAY and let the Holy Spirit shine His RAY.

Exhibiting domineering tendencies in teaching such that you start demonizing those who don’t listen to you or agree with you “on some levels” is a product of unrenewed mind – it’s the work of the flesh.
A teacher who attempts to replace the Holy Spirit in the lives of the hearers is at the risk of sliding into a one-man religion, thereby creating a sect of “spiritual secessionists” instead of raising Kingdom disciples.

Teaching the Word by REVELATION and INSPIRATION with faith in the Holy Spirit’s ability to illuminate the hearts and minds of the people is what makes you a great teacher of the Word.

Always remember that YOU CANNOT REPLACE THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE LIVES OF PEOPLE; you can only become a yielded vessel in His hand to communicate the truth of God’s Word with simplicity, clarity and accuracy.

May the Lord help us to teach the Word more and more in the power of the Spirit to the edification of the saints and expansion of the Kingdom.
Amen!
Shalom!!!
